THE WATERSHEDS WALK details an upland walk which both starts and finishes in Keighley, West Yorkshire. It does not follow the course of the River Worth, but is a complete circuit of the high upland watersheds of the Worth Valley, taking in Hainworth, Nab Hill, Top Withens, Ponden, the Earl Crag Monuments and Goose Eye. Feeling that Haworth has already been adequately covered elsewhere, the author concentrates on other areas of the valley, and shows that, though still largely undiscovered and unspoilt, they still have as much interest as their more illustrious neighbour.

THE WATERSHEDS WALK can be done as a whole, or in sections, and is illustrated with photographs and hand drawn maps containing comprehensive route directions. The author also provides a commentary along the route, detailing the economic history of the valley, and describing the various kinds of landscape, flora and fauna.

The author has combined an original and challenging walk in an imposing landscape with an intimate knowledge of its history and present environment, giving the reader a chance to discover for themselves something of the beauty and tradition of the Worth Valley.
